SEARCHING FOR SPARE PARTS IN SAP

Often, an engineer or maintenance associate will need the spare parts specialist to Search for certain parts. If a part is not identified in the SAP system, the specialist must go on the Internet to search for the part by name or id number. Go to the Main menu & click on code Z1S1 to begin searching for a spring. Once you are transported to the Spare Parts screen, enter spring in the Material Description cell & ensure that an asterik is placed before & after the word spring & execute the transaction by clicking on the checkmark. ALWAYS place an asterik before & after a word!
